Objective
The Family & Friends Policy is designed to provide a fair and affordable way for Villa Vie Residents ("Residents") to welcome close family and friends ("F&F") aboard for select segments of our global voyage. VVR encourages Residents to share this unique journey with loved ones while ensuring program remains sustainable and equitable for all.
This benefit allows Residents to reconnect with their loved ones while at sea. Adhering to these guidelines ensures all Residents can enjoy this privilege while maintaining the integrity of the program.
General Eligibility
1. Family & Friends benefits are available to:
• Owners and Pay-As-You-Go ("PAYG") Residents who have booked a minimum of 540 days (1.5 years) at a rate of $33 USD per person, per day.
• Endless Horizon Residents at a rate of $129 USD per person, per day.
• Tour La Vie and Seasonal Ownership Residents at the following rates: o Inside cabin: $99 per person, per day
o Outside cabin: $119 per person, per day
o Balcony cabin: $199 per person, per day
2. Resident Presence Requirement: The Resident must be onboard for their F&F guests to stay.
3. Extended Stays in Resident Cabins:
• Eligible Residents may host F&F in their cabin for an extended stay (between 14 and 30 days) at $33 per person, per day, adhering to occupancy limits.
• The Resident must be onboard for the entire duration of the F&F stay.
• Solo Residents: If hosting a guest for longer than 30 days, they must switch to a double occupancy rate. Changes between solo and double occupancy are allowed once every six months.
• Extended Stays in F&F Cabins (Deck 2): Residents may book a designated F&F cabin on Deck 2 for up to 14 days at $33 per person, per day, subject to availability. Stays exceeding 14 days will be charged at the prevailing market rate.
Family & Friends Benefit Policy
Complimentary Eligibility:
Accrued Benefits Program: Owners and PAYG Residents who have booked at least 540 days (1.5 years) in segments accrue seven (7) complimentary F&F days per quarter (90 days), totaling 28 complimentary days per year.
1. Use of Accrued Days: o Complimentary days apply only to guests staying in a Resident’s cabin or a designated F&F cabin on Deck 2, subject to availability.
o Residents may use up to 14 complimentary days per quarter.
o Owners on payment plans may only use complimentary days once their cabin is paid in full.
Booking Guidelines
1. Reservation Submission: Requests for F&F reservations must be submitted by the Resident via the designated form. Villa Vie Residences: Friends and Family Reservation Form or you can always email our Resident Service Manager at maria@villavieresidences.com for additional assistance or information. Please do not submit any requests to Sales Advisors or Chief Purser onboard or send messages via Circle.
2. Booking Timeline: Reservations should be made no later than ninety (90) days before the intended embarkation date. Confirmation will be provided sixty (60) days prior.
3. Cabin Assignment: F&F cabins will be assigned two (2) weeks before embarkation.
4. Payment Terms: Payment for F&F reservations is required upon booking confirmation. Administration Fee of $150 per transaction will apply to all bookings. No exceptions.
5. Prospective Residents: Guests listed as prospective future Residents pay at the published rate.
Scope and Limitations
1. Policy Application: This Policy applies to all Villa Vie Residents.
2. Availability and Prioritization: F&F cabin availability, if demand exceeds capacity, reservation will be confirmed on a first come first serve basis.
3. Non-Refundable & Non-Transferable: All F&F bookings are non-refundable and non-cancellable, and non-transferable. Unused F&F days will be forfeited.
4. Resident Cabin Occupancy Restriction: Residents cannot use this program for themselves if their cabin is occupied. Instead, they must pay the market rate. No exceptions.

Important Notes
• Program Intent: This program is designed exclusively for Residents to share long-term sailing experience with family and close friends. It is not intended for guests seeking to avoid standard pricing or as a means of extended or recurring accommodation.
• Reservation of Rights: VVR reserves the right to review and modify this policy if misuse is identified, ensure its fairness and sustainability. VVR reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to deny Family & Friends program access to any individual if it is determined that their participation may compromise the program’s intent or the overall Resident experience.
• Responsibility: The Resident is fully responsible for family and friends staying onboard including but not limited to, all outstanding expenses, fees, and/or damages, all of which will be charged against the Resident’s onboard account. Residents are responsible in ensuring compliance with onboard behavior standards. Please remember Resident must be onboard during their F&F visit. VVR has the sole discretion to remove friends and family in the event of inappropriate, unruly, or violent behavior. Illegal activity will result in expulsion and be reported to the appropriate authorities.
